Halloween Golf Cart Parade in Cocoa Oct. 31

Heron Creek Middle School (HCVMS) will host its 4th Annual Halloween Golf Cart Parade on Saturday, Oct. 31, 2026, at 7 p.m. The event follows the City of Cocoa’s Fall Festival in Cocoa Village.

The free, family-friendly parade offers a unique way to celebrate Halloween. Spectators can view decorated golf carts along the streets of Cocoa Village, including near historic Riverfront Park. The parade route will be mapped and announced soon.

The parade will also collect canned food donations for the City of Cocoa’s drive, benefiting the Central Brevard Sharing Center. Organizers will accept donations at the golf cart check-in location.

Individuals interested in participating must register their golf carts for free. Participants should decorate their carts and wear costumes with a family-friendly theme. Award categories for the Cart Decoration Contest include Spookiest, Most “Spirit”-ed, and Judges Choice. SxS, ATVs and lifted vehicles are prohibited. Participants may not throw candy to spectators.

Vehicle and trailer parking will be available at the Rosa L. Jones Dr. lot, with entry via U.S. 1 East onto Rosa L. Jones Dr. due to street closures. Setup and staging may begin at 5 p.m. The Lee Wenner Park lot is closed for construction.

The City of Cocoa Police Department will lead the parade. Participants must maintain the pace of the police vehicle and stay on the designated route. The parade concludes at the Rosa L. Jones Dr. lot. Participants may enjoy Cocoa Village afterward, but carts and vehicles cannot remain overnight.
