Welcome to the City of Lauderdale Lakes Financial Services Division Mission The mission of the Financial Services Division is to responsibly and professionally manage the financial affairs of the City of Lauderdale Lakes. We are dedicated to maintaining and strengthening the City’s financial integrity and reputation while providing efficient support services to our residents and City operations. Our Focus The Financial Services Division operates through five key areas, each playing a vital role in the financial health and stability of our City: Administration Division – Oversees strategic financial planning and policy implementation to achieve long-term goals. Operations Division – Manages day-to-day financial functions, ensuring seamless financial transactions and reporting. Information Technology Division – Supports and enhances City services through innovative technology solutions and infrastructure. Accounting and Financial Management – Maintains accurate financial records and ensures compliance with accounting standards. Purchasing – Facilitates the procurement of goods and services in a transparent and cost-effective manner. Objectives The Financial Services Division focuses on: Improving communication, cooperation, and coordination (The Three Cs) within and beyond the department. Recommending and implementing technology advancements to enhance efficiency. Attracting and retaining highly skilled professionals through competitive salaries and a supportive work environment. Continuously analyzing and optimizing workflows for greater efficiency. Staying proactive and well-informed in City policy-making and decision processes. Goals Foster continued professional education and training for staff members. Ensure effective and efficient use of City resources and personnel. Maintain competitive salaries and benefits to attract top talent. Promote an engaging and attractive work environment. Support staff knowledge and involvement in City policy and decisions. We are committed to ensuring the financial stability of Lauderdale Lakes while providing exceptional service and support to our community.

Overnight Ramp Closures at I-95 Interchange and S.R. 528 September 17 - 23

Motorists are advised that the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) will implement overnight ramp closures at the Interstate 95 (I-95) and State Road (S.R.) 528 interchange in Brevard County beginning as early as 9/17/26. These closures are necessary to complete paving operations for I-95 at the S.R. 528 interchange as part of maintenance improvements.The work schedule is subject to change due to inclement weather or other unforeseen circumstances.FDOT advises motorists to remain alert and follow all posted detour signs.Thursday, September 17: The off-ramp from southbound I-95 to westbound S.R. 528 (Exit 205B) will be closed overnight from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. the following morning, Friday, September 18.Motorists traveling southbound on I-95 who wish to access westbound S.R. 528 should continue south on I-95 and exit at S.R. 524 (Exit 202), turn left onto eastbound S.R. 524, turn left to re-enter northbound I-95 and continue north to S.R. 528 (Exit 205B). Thursday, September 17: The off-ramp from southbound I-95 to eastbound S.R. 528 (Exit 205A) will be closed overnight from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. the following morning, Friday, September 18.Motorists traveling southbound on I-95 who wish to access eastbound S.R. 528 should continue south on I-95 and exit at S.R. 524 (Exit 202), turn left onto eastbound S.R. 524, turn left to re-enter northbound I-95 and continue north to S.R. 528 (Exit 205A).
