CITY OF ANNA MARIA NOTICE OF EXTENSION OF LOCAL STATE OF EMERGENCY NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Local State of Emergency declared by the City of Anna Maria on April 2, 2021, and extended on April 9, 2021, is hereby extended, pursuant to Section 252.38(3)(a), Florida Statutes. This extension is necessary to continue to take measures to ensure the protection of property, public health, safety and welfare, and to address the ongoing situation with Piney Point. DATED this 16th day of April, 2021.

Voting Equipment Testing Open to Public in Venice

"Notice is hereby given that the Sarasota County Supervisor of Elections office will conduct Logic and Accuracy (L&A) testing of voting equipment to be used in the August 20, 2024, Primary Election. The L&A test will begin at 9:00 a.m. on Tuesday, July 16, 2024, and continue daily, excluding Saturdays and Sundays, until completed. Testing will be conducted at the Robert L. Anderson Administration Center, 4000 S. Tamiami Trail, Venice, FL 34293. This testing is open to the public."
