Clewiston All-Star Baseball Tournaments Return

Clewiston will host All-Star baseball tournaments this month after the Parks & Recreation Department upgraded athletic facilities to meet tournament standards.

The 8-10 Baseball Districts tournament began June 10 on Field 4, with games continuing through June 12 if needed. Sectional tournaments for 8-10 Baseball and Seniors Baseball follow June 26-27, with a possible June 28 date. Seniors Baseball games will take place on Field 6.

Tournament organizers require safe playing fields and operational scoreboards. U.S. Sugar and the Clewiston Rotary Club donated working scoreboards that helped the city qualify to host the events.

The city will announce additional details on times and bracket information as the tournaments approach.
