Backyard Chicken Keeping Program City ordinances allow the opportunity for City residents who occupy detached single-family homes and duplexes to be able to keep up to six chickens in their backyards. In order to participate in this program, residents must obtain a Backyard Chicken Keeping Permit through the Community Development Department. Please contact Zoning at 407-957-7284 or [email protected] for more information. Please Note: If you wish to obtain a "Backyard Chicken-Keeping" permit, you will need to participate in a "Chicken Keeping" class. The Osceola County UF/IFAS Extension Services offers the "Backyard Poultry Basics" class. Frequently Asked Questions About Backyard Chicken Keeping Backyard Chicken Keeping Classes (Offered in English and in Spanish) Learn how to keep chickens for fun and egg production! Parkland City Commission to Hold Regular Meeting on April 10th
