Catholic Charities Diocese of Venice marks a decade of service

Catholic Charities, Diocese of Venice, Inc., recently celebrated its 10th anniversary as a distinct entity within the diocese. For the past decade, the organization has provided essential services across Southwest Florida, including food pantries, financial aid, disaster relief, and counseling.

The organization has grown its programs and reach over the years to address the community's changing needs. A committed staff and numerous volunteers support Catholic Charities' ongoing work to assist individuals and families facing poverty, homelessness, and other challenges.

To honor this milestone, Bishop Frank J. Dewane led a Mass of Thanksgiving on Wednesday, May 15, 2024, at Epiphany Cathedral in Venice. The service offered a time for prayer and gratitude for the past ten years and the work ahead.
