Cleveland Brecksville Road Widening: $5.5M Project
Cleveland will widen Brecksville Road north of Rockside Road by two feet in each direction as part of a $5.5 million infrastructure project, the city announced February 12.
The road carries more than 11,000 vehicles daily, including 400 trucks serving the Rockside business district. Construction crews will maintain two-way traffic throughout the work.
This marks the third phase of improvements to Brecksville Road. The city completed the first phase in 2018 at Granger Road and the second phase between 2019 and 2020, covering the stretch south from the I-480 bridge to just before Longano Drive.
City officials presented project details and timelines at an open house for residents. The presentation is available on the city's website.
