Silver Alert for Missing St. Pete Beach Man with Memory Issues

The Pinellas County Sheriff's Office issued a Silver Alert Wednesday for Paul Belyea, a 71-year-old St. Pete Beach man with memory issues. Deputies last saw Belyea at 11 a.m. on Sept. 16, 2026, at his residence at 245 43rd Avenue in St. Pete Beach. He is described as approximately 5 feet 11 inches tall, weighing 165 pounds, with long gray hair often worn in a ponytail and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a denim shirt with a khaki collar and elbow pads, blue jeans, and gray/tan boat shoes.

Belyea does not own a vehicle and is known to walk to the beach, west of his neighborhood. He may also be found along the Pinellas Trail. The Sheriff's Office asks anyone with information about Belyea's whereabouts to contact law enforcement immediately.
