O2B Kids Belleair Launches New Drama & Music Classes for Local Children, Including Glee and Improv

O2B Kids Belleair introduced new drama and music classes for children in the Clearwater area. The programs aim to build confidence and foster creativity in preschoolers and school-aged students.

The new offerings include classes tailored for different age groups. Preschoolers aged 3-5 years can enroll in "Music Fundamentals," which explores rhythm, pitch, volume, and tempo through hands-on practice. For school-aged children, from kindergarten through 13 years, options include "Glee" and "Improv Games." "Glee" focuses on singing, dancing, and choreography to classic and current hits, while "Improv Games" helps children develop quick thinking and adaptability without a script.

Another program for K-13 year olds, "Skit Factory," provides a comprehensive theatrical experience. Participants write scripts, design costumes, decorate sets, and perform a show. These classes aim to develop essential life skills such as stage directions, improvisation, and scriptwriting, all while building poise and self-confidence.

All drama and music classes run for 45 minutes. Drama classes follow a structured format, beginning with a 5-minute opening, followed by a 5-minute vocal warm-up, and a 5-minute body warm-up. This structured approach helps children engage with the material and develop their performance skills in a supportive environment.
