Portland Marathon to impact traffic on several downtown bridges Offered by Communications Office Bridges Transportation Division September 30, 2026 This weekend the annual Portland Marathon will impact traffic on several bridges maintained by Multnomah County. Plan ahead for potential traffic delays and use caution while traveling in the downtown area. Broadway Bridge On Sunday, Oct. 4 from 6:30 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. the following morning, the Broadway Bridge will be closed to all motorized vehicles, pedestrians and cyclists for the event. Burnside Bridge On Sunday, Oct. 4 from 7:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., one westbound lane on the Burnside Bridge will be closed to all motorized vehicles, pedestrians and cyclists for the event. Morrison Bridge On Sunday, Oct. 4 from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. the south sidewalk and bike lane will be closed on the Morrison Bridge for the event. Sellwood Bridge On Sunday, Oct. 4 from 6:30 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. the westbound lane on the Sellwood Bridge will be closed for the event. Hawthorne Bridge On Sunday, Oct. 4 from 7:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. the S.E. Water Avenue ramp will be closed for the event. All other traffic lanes and sidewalks on these bridges will remain open for the event. Multnomah County maintains five Willamette River bridges: the Sellwood, Hawthorne, Morrison, Burnside and Broadway Bridges as well as the Wapato Bridge over the Multnomah Channel. Washington County Developmental Disabilities to host October 10 resource fair in Beaverton | Washington County, OR Skip to main content Media release Developmental Disabilities Behavioral Health Posted October 1, 2026 Washington County Developmental Disabilities (DD) will hold its annual fall resource fair on Saturday, October 10, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Conestoga Recreation Center, 9985 SW 125th Avenue in Beaverton. Learn about available DD services, such as attendant care, relief care, behavior consultation, community recreation, educational resources, residential services, employment support, and more. “This fair is a one-stop shop for families to find developmental disability services and supports in Washington County,” Program Manager Kirsten Oster said. “It’s also a great opportunity for parents and caregivers to network, and attendees can even apply for some services onsite.” More than 50 local agencies and organizations will be on hand.
