**Severe Thunderstorm Warning issued September 21 at 4:35PM EDT until September 21 at 5:15PM EDT by NWS Greenville-Spartanburg SC**

At 434 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 9 miles north of Clarkesville, or 5 miles south of Lake Burton, moving south at 5 mph.

HAZARD...Ping pong ball size hail and 60 mph wind gusts.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...People and animals outdoors will be injured. Expect hail damage to roofs, siding, windows, and vehicles. Expect wind damage to trees and power lines.

Locations impacted include... Tiger, Lake Rabun, Lake Burton, Seed Lake, Batesville, and Lakemont.
