Rogers County Commissioner DeLozier Leads ACCO Conference
Rogers County Commissioner Dan DeLozier presided over the Association of County Commissioners of Oklahoma Spring Conference in Norman as ACCO president, delivering the opening remarks to county officials from across the state's 77 counties.
The two-day conference featured training sessions on artificial intelligence security and courthouse safety. Speakers included Diverse CTI on AI threats and ACCO's Fred Clark on security protocols. Attendees also heard from gubernatorial candidates Attorney General Gentner Drummond, House Speaker Charles McCall, and Representative Cyndi Munson, who addressed county funding, infrastructure, public safety, and local authority issues.
ACCO Executive Director Chris Schroder said continuing education helps commissioners serve their communities. "The conference highlighted the commitment commissioners have to improving in their roles," Schroder said.
The conference drew 231 county commissioners across district meetings, board sessions, vendor interactions, and educational programming.
DeLozier represents Rogers County District 1 from an office at 200 S. Lynn Riggs Blvd. in Claremore. Office hours are Monday through Friday, 7 a.m. to 3 p.m.
