Citrus County 2026 Road Work Schedule Now Online

Citrus County released its 2026 Pavement Management Work Plan in May, listing county roads scheduled for improvement this year. Residents can search the plan at citruscounty.gov/roads to view treatment details for specific roads.

The county maintains 1,844 miles of paved roads valued at $1.3 billion. The work plan is part of a transparency initiative that includes a Pavement Management Portal at citruscounty.gov/roadportal, where the public can access road condition data for all county-maintained roadways.

"While there's always more work to be done, especially when it comes to roads, I applaud Team Citrus for taking this step forward in making data-driven decisions and providing public transparency," said County Administrator Steve Howard.
