At 352 PM EDT/252 PM CDT/, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 7 miles southwest of Signal Mountain, or 10 miles east of Jasper, moving southwest at 20 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible.

Locations impacted include... Chattanooga, Jasper, Signal Mountain, Walden, Whitwell, Kimball, Fairmount, Red Bank, Powells Crossroads, and Martin Springs.
