Victoria Recreation Center Goes Cashless June 1, 2026

The Victoria Recreation Center will stop accepting cash on June 1, 2026, requiring members and guests to pay with credit cards, debit cards, or mobile apps like Apple Pay and Google Pay.

The Parks & Recreation Department expects the shift to reduce wait times at the front desk and eliminate risks tied to storing physical currency. The center will continue selling punch passes online and at the desk for occasional visitors who don't want a full membership.
