San Diego Mosque Shooting Leaves Three Dead; Suspects Found Dead
San Diego police reported a shooting at the Islamic Center of San Diego that resulted in the deaths of three adults. Authorities discovered the bodies of two teenage males in a vehicle shortly after the incident. Police identified the deceased as the suspected shooters.
According to NBC News, the mother of the 17-year-old suspect contacted police hours before the shooting. The woman told authorities she believed her son was suicidal. She also reported that he was wearing camouflage, had left a note, and that both her car and several firearms were missing from the residence.
Authorities continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding the shooting and the deaths of the two teenagers.
