The proposed rate adjustment is necessary to ensure the continued provision of efficient and reliable solid waste management services within the county. DATE: Tuesday, October 1, 2026 TIME: 10:00 AM PLACE: Board of County Commissioners' Meeting Room, Polk County Courthouse, 101 N. Court Street, Dallas, OR 97338 All interested parties are invited to attend and present testimony regarding the proposed solid waste collection rate increase. Written comments may also be submitted to the County Administrator's Office at the address above or by email to [email protected] prior to the hearing. Further information regarding the proposed rate increase, including details on the new proposed rates, can be found on the Polk County website at www.co.polk.or.us or by contacting the Polk County Public Works Department at (503) 623-8384.
