Catskill Central School District Wins Music Award
Catskill Central School District earned the Best Communities for Music Education Award from The NAMM Foundation for the fifth consecutive year, recognizing the district's commitment to music education and equitable access to music learning.
The NAMM Foundation, the charitable arm of the National Association of Music Merchants, evaluates districts annually on funding, instructional time, participation rates, facilities, and community support. WolfBrown, a research firm specializing in education and the arts, independently verified all applications.
"Our music program reflects the passion of our students, the dedication of our faculty, and the support of our community," Superintendent Junait Shah said. "This recognition shows our commitment to providing a well-rounded education where students thrive through the arts."
The NAMM Foundation works to remove barriers to music-making and careers in the music industry.
