* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for... Northwestern Socorro County in central New Mexico... Northeastern Catron County in west central New Mexico... South Central Cibola County in west central New Mexico...

* Until 145 PM MDT.

* At 105 PM MDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 18 miles northeast of Pietown, or 21 miles north of Datil, moving northeast at 15 mph.

HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

* Locations impacted include... Mainly rural areas of Northwestern Socorro, Northeastern Catron and South Central Cibola Counties.
