We strive to provide excellent customer service, by overseeing the outdoor special event permitting process and are here to help you through your planning process. Do You Need a Permit? All events on City property require approval. The type of permit depends on your event: Small, private weddings (50 guests of fewer) > Beach Wedding Permit Large, public, or high-impact > Special Events Permit Beach Wedding Permit Required for weddings that are: Private ceremonies with 50 guests or fewer Held on Cocoa Beach or city-owned park spaces Involving minimal setup (arches, chairs, small decor) With no vendors, amplified sound, and road closures Learn more or apply for a Beach Wedding Permit Apply for a marriage license at Brevard County Government.
