OPL Bookies - Adult Book Club Connect with fellow readers at the Oakland Park Library’s Adult Book Club. Each meeting features an open, friendly discussion of a selected book in a relaxed environment. Starting in October the book club is transitioning into a registration based club. Broward Property Appraiser Broward County Property Appraiser staff will assist residents with filing for property tax exemptions and related assessment questions. Public Computer Use The library has 20 computers equipped with business applications and Internet access for public use. Printing is available for a nominal charge. Patrons have 3 hours of use per day. Please note that the computers shut down 30 minutes prior to the library's closing time each day, but mobile printing services are still available. Our well-equipped library features comfortable study carrels with electrical outlets that are perfect for laptop use. While library staff can assist you with signing onto a computer, locating a website, research strategies, or printing, computer use is deemed as self-service. If you are unable to use a computer, please bring someone with you who can assist you or contact our Adult Services Librarian at 954-630-4373 to find out when our next beginner computer class series will be held.
