Teton Village Luxury Resort Boom Fuels Jackson Hole Job Surge
Teton Village, the gateway to Jackson Hole Mountain Resort, is set for a tourism windfall with a $150 million ski-in-ski-out luxury resort under development, initially reported by the Casper Star-Tribune. The project is expected to generate 200 jobs in construction and operations, drawing affluent skiers and summer adventurers to this Wyoming enclave nestled in the Tetons. Local real estate values have surged alongside demand, with high-end properties commanding premium prices in Teton County.
Noble House Hotels & Resorts expanded its footprint in Jackson Hole by acquiring Teton Mountain Lodge and Hotel Terra, two slopeside staples in Teton Village, assuming management immediately to elevate their luxury offerings. These properties join established rivals like the Four Seasons Resort Jackson Hole and Caldera House, which debuted near the resort's iconic tram, positioning the village as a premier destination for six-star-level experiences—despite no official such rating. Jackson Hole Mountain Resort is negotiating with a third party for a new luxury hotel on the Cody Lot, including 180 parking spaces and potential land swaps for a TVA parking garage.
Faraway Jackson Hole, slated to open summer 2026 at 7710 Granite Loop Road in Teton Village, adds to the momentum with its promise of bespoke luxury amid year-round adventures. Resort co-owner Mike Corbet highlighted the project's slopeside ambitions, complementing the 2025-26 winter season's draw at Jackson Hole Mountain Resort. For Wyoming residents, the influx means economic boosts but also pressures on housing and infrastructure in this high-stakes valley.
