**Special Weather Statement issued September 22 at 3:17PM MDT by NWS Riverton WY**

At 316 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 8 miles west of Crooks Gap, which is 13 miles southwest of Jeffrey City, moving northeast at 40 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects.

This storm will remain over mainly rural areas of southeastern Fremont and northeastern Sweetwater Counties.
