The National Weather Service in Tucson, AZ issued the advisory today, October 9, at 9:19 AM MST. It is effective from 2 AM MST on Sunday, October 11, until 11 PM MST on Sunday, October 11.
Sustained south to southwest winds of 25 to 35 mph are expected, with gusts reaching 45-55 mph. The strongest gusts may occur near showers and thunderstorms. These conditions can make driving difficult, particularly for high-profile vehicles. Unsecured objects outdoors may be blown around, and tree limbs could be downed, potentially leading to power outages. Use extra caution when traveling and secure loose outdoor items.
