Carthage Police Department Opens $3.7M Headquarters

The Carthage Police Department moved into its new standalone headquarters at 453 W Sabine St, ending years of shared space constraints with another city agency.

The City Commission approved the $3.7 million project in late June 2024. SCI Construction of Whitehouse and KSA Engineers designed and built the facility, which is now complete.

The new building gives the police department dedicated evidence processing space and work environments designed for police operations. City leaders said the modern facility will help recruit officers and position the department for future growth.
