A Dense Fog Advisory has been issued for portions of east central and southeast Indiana and northern Kentucky, effective immediately until 11:00 AM EDT this morning, October 12.

The National Weather Service in Wilmington, Ohio, reports that visibility will be one-quarter mile or less in dense fog. This includes the Indiana counties of Wayne, Fayette, Union, Franklin, Ripley, Dearborn, Ohio, and Switzerland. In Kentucky, the affected counties are Carroll, Gallatin, Boone, Kenton, Campbell, Owen, Grant, Pendleton, Bracken, and Robertson.

Low visibility is expected to create hazardous driving conditions. Drivers are urged to slow down, use their headlights, and maintain plenty of distance between their vehicle and others on the road.
