Monroe Township Approves Monroe Acres Park Upgrades

Monroe Township supervisors authorized bidding for improvements to Monroe Acres Park at their April 9 meeting, moving forward with upgrades to stormwater systems and recreation facilities.

The township expects to award the construction contract in June, with work beginning in late summer or early fall. The Pennsylvania Commonwealth Financing Authority provided a grant to help fund the project.

Supervisors will review contractor bids before selecting a builder.
