Monroe Township Park Project: Stormwater & Recreation Bids Open

Monroe Township supervisors authorized bidding April 9 for improvements to Monroe Acres Park on Fairway Drive, combining stormwater infrastructure upgrades with recreation amenities.

The township expects to award the construction contract in June, with work beginning in late summer or early fall. A Commonwealth Financing Authority grant will help fund the project.

Contractors will submit bids for the combined work. Supervisors will select a contractor at a meeting later this summer.
