Cape Coral Prepares for Songwriter Fest Pregame Weekend, Sept. 18-20

Cape Coral residents can look forward to a weekend of live music and local business support with the upcoming Songwriter Fest Pregame Weekend, scheduled for September 18-20. This community-wide event leads directly into the Island Hopper Songwriter Fest's Cape Coral dates on September 21-22.

The Pregame Weekend kicks off on Friday, September 18, with a waterfront party at Nauti Mermaid at The Westin Cape Coral Resort at Marina Village, located at 5951 Silver King Blvd. The event runs from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. and will feature live music, local vendors, a specialty cocktail, and waterfront views.

Attendees at the kickoff party can pick up an official Songwriter Fest Pregame Weekend Passport and the event lineup. Participants can then visit various businesses throughout the weekend on Saturday, September 19, and Sunday, September 20, checking off each stop on their passport. Completing the passport enters participants into a drawing for a prize basket valued at over $300, which includes items from participating businesses and Cape Coral merchandise.

This initiative aims to highlight Cape Coral’s dining and live-music scene. The City created this opportunity to expand Cape Coral’s presence during the Island Hopper Songwriter Fest season, building on community interest. The Lee County Visitor & Convention Bureau collaborated with local businesses and the City to make this event possible.

The Songwriter Fest Pregame Weekend is presented in partnership with The Westin Cape Coral Resort at Marina Village and Fuego Pilates. For the full event schedule, a list of participating businesses, and passport details, residents can visit CapeCoral.gov/SongwriterFest.
