Meet the Leadership Team of Bridge Community Church in Cape Coral: Pastors Sandin & Iorio Lead the Way

Bridge Community Church in Cape Coral lists six leaders and leadership couples who serve its pastoral, connection, youth and children’s ministries.

The team oversees the church’s day-to-day ministry relationships, including welcoming new people, supporting families and helping children and teenagers learn about Jesus. The church’s leadership roster says the group shares a commitment to helping people connect with God and with one another.

Pastoral leadership

Kory and Katie Sandin have served as Bridge’s lead pastors since 2014. They have worked in full-time ministry since 2007 and have three children, Kyler, Kinley and Krew. Kory enjoys golf, while Katie enjoys reading. The couple also travels and spends time with family.

Chris and Jen Iorio serve as associate pastors. They have attended Bridge since 2013 and joined the staff in 2017. The Iorios have been married since 2003 and have three children, Cayden, Dominic and Arabella. Chris plays drums, and Jen focuses on building relationships with people.

Connections, youth and children’s ministries

Cheryl Barnes serves as connections director. She moved to Cape Coral from upstate New York in 2011, came to Bridge that year and joined the staff in 2015. Barnes helps people feel welcome and connect with the church. She enjoys reading, going to the beach and spending time with her family, including her two grandsons.

Greg and Julie Eaton lead the church’s youth ministry. They have attended Bridge since 2009 and have led the youth since 2013. The couple married in 1999 and have three children, Tyler, Evan and Madelyn. Greg works as a teacher, and Julie works in healthcare.

Joy McTyer serves as kids director. She has attended Bridge since 2012 and has held the children’s ministry role since 2017. McTyer teaches children about Jesus and works to provide a safe, fun place for them to learn and grow. She has two children, Lily and Ella.

The leadership roster gives Cape Coral church members a current look at the people serving Bridge’s main ministry areas. It does not list upcoming services or special events.
