The City of Cape Coral invites residents to its fifth annual Trunk-or-Treat event on Friday, October 23. The family-friendly celebration runs from 5 to 9 p.m. at City Hall, 1015 Cultural Park Boulevard.

City Hall will close to the public at noon on the event day. The Trunk-or-Treat offers a safe Halloween celebration for the community.

A special time for children ages 5 and under is set for 5 to 6 p.m. All ages can trick-or-treat from 6 to 8 p.m. The evening includes a screening of the Halloween movie "Casper" starting at 7 p.m., followed by a drone show at 8:30 p.m. over City Hall.

Attendees should bring treat bags, lawn chairs, and blankets. The event also features a Halloween Town, scavenger hunt, and train rides. Admission is free.
