Residents in Cameron, Clearfield, Elk, McKean, Potter, and Warren Counties are advised to drive with extreme caution this morning due to a Dense Fog Advisory issued by the National Weather Service (NWS) in State College, PA. The advisory is effective immediately, from 5:14 AM EDT, and will remain in effect until 9:00 AM EDT today, September 30, 2026.
Visibility is reported to be one quarter mile or less in dense fog, which will significantly impact driving conditions. The NWS warns that low visibility could make travel hazardous.
If you must drive during this period, the NWS instructs motorists to slow down, use low-beam headlights, and maintain plenty of distance from other vehicles. These precautions are critical to ensure safety on the roads as the fog persists.
