TSCL Projects 3.8% COLA for 2027

Washington—The Senior Citizens League (TSCL) estimates the 2027 cost-of-living adjustment (COLA) will reach 3.8%. This projection places the potential 2027 COLA 1.0 percentage point higher than the COLA implemented this year.

TSCL updates its forecast monthly. The organization has consistently maintained its 3.8% estimate for the 2027 COLA during these updates. If implemented, a 3.8% COLA would rank as the 17th highest among all COLAs since their inception.
