Anfernee Simons led the Trail Blazers in scoring with 28 points. Scoot Henderson contributed 20 points for Portland. Deandre Ayton recorded 14 points and 12 rebounds in the losing effort. The Suns outrebounded the Trail Blazers 48-39.

Phoenix now prepares to play the New Orleans Pelicans for the eighth seed in the Western Conference playoffs. The winner of that contest will secure the final playoff spot.
