Jackson County Tourism Director Joins VISIT FLORIDA

Kelsi Jackson, executive director of the Jackson County Tourist Development Council, will serve on VISIT FLORIDA's Industry Services Committee through the 2026-27 fiscal year.
Jackson brings rural tourism perspective to the state's official tourism marketing corporation, which promotes Florida as a travel destination and advises tourism businesses statewide. The committee meets quarterly to review industry programs and guide tourism development strategies.
Jackson County's tourism assets include Florida Caverns State Park, the Chipola River, and the historic Marianna downtown district. The Tourist Development Council operates through bed tax revenue from overnight accommodations.
