BEAM Gala Raises Record-Breaking Funds

BEAM celebrated four decades of serving the Beaches Community in unforgettable style at its annual fundraising gala, the 2025 BEAM of Light Beach Ball, held August 23, 2025, at the iconic TPC Sawgrass Clubhouse in Ponte Vedra Beach. Presented by Berry & Co. Real Estate, the sold-out evening brought together more than 300 community leaders, supporters, and neighbors for a night of philanthropy, celebration, and inspiration. Guests were welcomed by Jacksonville Beach Mayor Chris Hoffman, who set the tone for a powerful program highlighting BEAM’s enduring impact on families facing hunger, housing instability, and financial hardship. The evening’s most moving moment came when a courageous participant in BEAM’s Single Parent Program, Brittany, took the stage to share how BEAM’s support had transformed her life and the lives of her children. Her heartfelt story and recent success in becoming a first-time homeowner brought the audience to its feet in a standing ovation, underscoring the life-changing importance of BEAM’s mission. Throughout the program, attendees enjoyed a vibrant evening featuring live and silent auctions led by Congressman Aaron Bean, a high-energy performance from local favorite Str8up Band, dinner, and dancing. The gala raised a record-breaking $337,000 to fuel BEAM’s programs, which provide emergency financial assistance, nutritious food, and targeted support for seniors and single parents throughout the Beaches Community. “This year’s Beach Ball was more than a celebration; it was a milestone,” said Jeff Winkler, BEAM CEO. “For 40 years, BEAM has been here because of the unwavering generosity of our supporters, the dedication of our volunteers, and the resilience of the families we serve. We are proud of how far we’ve come—and we are even more excited for what the next 40 years will bring.” BEAM also honored its longtime presenting sponsor, Berry & Co. Real Estate. “Berry & Co. Real Estate is proud to support BEAM and the incredible work they do to uplift families in need throughout the Beaches Community,” said Clare Berry. “By contributing to BEAM and their Beach Ball Gala, we’re helping to strengthen the safety net that catches our neighbors when they need it most.” The 2025 BEAM of Light Beach Ball showcased the powerful impact of community coming together with compassion and purpose—and reaffirmed BEAM’s commitment to ensuring that no family in the Beaches faces hunger or financial crisis alone.  The post BEAM Celebrates 40 Years of Service with Record-Breaking Gala at TPC Sawgrass first appeared on BEAM.
