Sarasota Memorial Healthcare Foundation Announces $7.5 Million Gift from Charles & Margery Barancik Foundation to Expand Youth Mental & Behavioral Health Services Sarasota, FL (May 22, 2024) – Sarasota Memorial Healthcare Foundation has received a $7.5 million gift from Charles & Margery Barancik Foundation to expand access to mental and behavioral health services for youth and families in Sarasota County. This transformative gift will enable Sarasota Memorial Healthcare System (SMHCS) to significantly enhance its services, addressing a critical need in our community. The funding will support the expansion of outpatient programs, crisis intervention services, and school-based mental health initiatives.
