NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a public hearing will be held before the City of South Miami on Tuesday, May 21, 2024, at 7:00 PM at South Miami City Hall, 6130 Sunset Drive, South Miami, FL 33143, to consider the following: Application #24-03: An application has been filed requesting variances to the City’s Zoning Code, specifically a variance of Section 126-42(G)(2)(a) to reduce the required rear setback from 25 feet to 10 feet to permit the construction of a new pool, and a variance of Section 126-42(G)(2)(c) to allow encroachment of the pool equipment within the required rear setback, for property located at 6330 SW 62nd Avenue, South Miami, FL 33143. The applicant is 6330 SW 62 AVE LLC. Anyone interested in these items may appear at the hearing. The application is available for review in the City Clerk’s Office at City Hall. All interested parties are invited to attend and be heard, or to submit written comments to the City prior to the meeting. In accordance with the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990, all persons with disabilities who require special accommodations to participate in this hearing should contact the City Clerk’s Office at (305) 663-6300 no later than two (2) business days prior to the proceeding.
