Mohave College launches electrical technology program at Colorado City Campus

Mohave College will offer electrical technology training at its Colorado City Campus beginning fall 2026, bringing residential wiring certification to northern Mohave County.

The one-year program teaches wiring systems, electrical safety and code compliance. Students earn a residential wiring certificate recognized by Arizona and gain skills meeting industry standards.

"We are very excited to bring electrical training to the Colorado City area," said Jason Gee, dean of career and technical education. "This program can provide immediate support to the community. With everything on track, electrical technology will be just the beginning of career and technical education opportunities on the Colorado City Campus."

Registration for fall semester opens at FutureBighorn.com. The Admissions team can answer enrollment questions at Mohave.edu/Admission. Program details are available at Mohave.edu/Electrical.
