Mohave College Driving Simulator in Bullhead City

Mohave College Corporate Education will offer driver education courses starting July 6 at the Bullhead Campus, featuring a new driving simulator that lets students practice hazardous road conditions before taking their permit test.
The Pathway to Safe Driving pre-permit courses meet from 6 to 8 p.m. in Building 500, Room 506. Each course combines 20 hours of classroom instruction with simulator training where students encounter pedestrians, rock slides, and other hazards in both daytime and nighttime conditions. Students practice on city streets and operate automatic and manual transmission vehicles.
The program covers vehicle control, defensive driving, traffic laws, emergency response, and permit test preparation. Courses serve teens, first-time drivers, and anyone seeking a refresher.
The cost is $175. Registration closes July 1. Students can register at MohaveDrive.com or contact Janice Berkenheger, Corporate Education and Career Training Program Manager, at 928-681-5649 or [email protected].
Mohave College also offers the course in Kingman at the Beale Street Center, Room 106.
