At 301 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong to severe thunderstorms over the Allehany Highlands. Movement was east at 30 mph. These storms are expected to weaken, but may still contain gusty winds and heavy rain as they cross I-81 near Lexington VA.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects.
