College Station Fire Department Promotes Four to Leadership

The College Station Fire Department promoted four firefighters to leadership roles during a recent ceremony. Michael Klemcke advanced to Driver/Operator, while Kyle Kinard, Cody Smith, and Justin Schomburg each earned the rank of Lieutenant.

Driver/Operators operate fire apparatus and serve as company officers when needed. Lieutenants supervise firefighting crews and coordinate emergency response at incident scenes.

The promotions strengthen the department's leadership as the city grows. The fire department serves College Station and portions of Bryan through automatic aid agreements.
