Broward FAFSA Fever Workshops Aid College Aid Applications

FAFSA Fever workshops in Broward County offer students and families one-on-one help with the college financial aid application process. Both on-campus and virtual assistance are available.

Broward County students and families can receive expert assistance with college financial aid at FAFSA Fever workshops. Specialists will offer one-on-one guidance to complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA), a crucial step for pursuing higher education.

The workshops demystify the FAFSA, which is necessary to access federal grants, loans and work-study programs. Specialists can help applicants create Federal Student Aid (FSA) IDs, fill out the application and answer questions about eligibility for financial aid.

On-campus assistance is available Monday through Thursday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., and Fridays from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Students can visit the campus or join the QLESS virtual line. Virtual assistance is also available. Virtual advisors are online Monday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., Thursdays from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Fridays from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Residents can join the virtual line via a provided link.

Workshops also cover related financial aid topics, including work-study opportunities, scholarships, loans and managing financial aid accounts. On-campus support is also available at North Campus, South Campus and Central Campus from Monday to Thursday, 8 a.m. to 7 p.m., and Fridays from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Self-help videos offer additional resources.
