Gulfport Fire Rescue has confirmed a gas leak at 5705 17 Way S #B in Gulfport, with additional units dispatched to the scene, according to emergency dispatch. The confirmation comes after crews were initially dispatched on Sunday, August 16, 2026, at 11:52 PM.

A total of 13 units (E11, D5, E8, E3, S1, R11, T11, LR1, HU5, 331, E5, plus two additional unnamed units) are now responding to the incident, emergency dispatch confirmed. Previously, 11 units were reported on scene.
