Our Network The 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline is a national network comprised of over 200 local contact centers. These centers provide people with mental health support using innovative best practices, local resources, and non-judgmental care across the United States and its territories. Crisis Centers by State and U.S. Territory Benefits We value our crisis centers and provide many useful administrative benefits to members. Annual stipend Weekly and monthly call volume reports Multi-tiered back-up system Information sharing via blog and conference calls Language services Real Time Caller ID National promotions Credibility ASIST training Webinars Unique funding and grant opportunities Educational and awareness materials Evidence-based and nationally recognized best practices Chat software Call management and software discounts Contact Us If your organization is interested in joining the 988 Lifeline’s network of crisis call centers, or if you are establishing a call center and hope to join the 988 Lifeline, please contact us. Become a 988 Lifeline Crisis Center With ever increasing call volume and the implementation of 988, the Lifeline continues to work with states and local crisis centers to increase our capacity and increase the number of calls that can be answered locally and in-state. At this time, state agencies are responsible for selecting which local crisis centers will onboard into the 988 network and receive funding to answer 988 calls. If your organization is interested in joining the 988 Lifeline’s network of crisis call centers, or if you are establishing a call center and hope to join the 988 Lifeline and are not sure who to speak to in your state, please contact us and we will connect you with your state’s liaison.
