Everybody has a role to play in preventing suicide, and the 988 Lifeline has lots of ways you can take part. With your help, we can spread awareness about suicide prevention and mental health, and save lives. Career and Volunteer Opportunities Our network of local contact centers that make up the 988 Lifeline relies on dedicated and trained staff and volunteers to help provide non-judgmental support for people in emotional distress.
