Tornado Damages Wisconsin Neighborhoods, Storm System Moves East

Why it matters locally: The eastward movement of this severe storm system means that Maryland could experience severe weather conditions, including strong winds, heavy rainfall, and potential thunderstorms later in the week. Residents should monitor local weather alerts from the National Weather Service.

A tornado touched down in Wisconsin on Monday, flattening several neighborhoods. This incident formed part of a larger severe storm system impacting multiple states.
