Barrington Receives $10K Climate Resilience Grant

The Town of Barrington will use a $10,000 grant from the Rhode Island Infrastructure Bank to develop climate resilience strategies under the Resilient Rhody Initiative.

The funding supports planning activities to identify climate vulnerabilities and create action plans for strengthening infrastructure and natural systems. The statewide program helps Rhode Island municipalities prepare for sea level rise, storm surge, and flooding.
