The Brevard County Board of County Commissioners will consider a budget request from the Brevard County Sheriff's Office at their meeting Tuesday, October 6, 2026. The Sheriff's Office seeks approval to requisition one-twelfth of its Fiscal Year 2026/2027 budgeted funds monthly.
The board will also review a separate request for one-sixth of the Fiscal Year 2026/2027 budget to be appropriated in January 2027. The Sheriff's Office also requested approval for any capital equipment budget needs during the fiscal year.
The meeting begins at 5:00 PM at the usual county commission meeting location. Residents can find the agenda item and supporting documents on the Brevard County government website.
