Brenham Small Business Month 2026 | Free Workshops
Mayor Atwood Kenjura will proclaim May 2026 as Small Business Month during the May 7 City Council meeting, launching free events across Washington County to support local entrepreneurs.
Community partners will host networking events, workshops, panel discussions, and webinars throughout the month. Most require no registration, though some limit attendance.
"Small businesses create jobs and invest in our community," said Teresa Roslaes, Director of Economic Development. "Small Business Month recognizes their contributions while providing resources for current and future entrepreneurs."
The calendar includes weekly 1MillionCups gatherings, business workshops, marketing sessions, and leadership discussions. A featured luncheon panel, "Leading Through Noise: Keeping Your Team Focused in Today's Environment," addresses management challenges.
